About Us
AlphaLearners™ specialise in fun, colourful educational products. We design and sell stickers, writeon wipeoff placemats, number beads and stationery and stock a number of complementary products. We also have a number of free templates available online.
Our products have been specially designed to help motivate young children to read, write and spell and with numeracy. Young children love stickers and writeon wipeoff products so we have developed a new learning product that we believe will help to encourage young children to learn through play.
Why?
A little and often approach has been proven to be best for young children’s learning and often fits best with today’s hectic family lifestyle.
As parents we found that there's just not always as much time as we'd like to be able to sit down with our daughter with a pen, pencil, paper, workbook, reading book or whatever and support one to one play and reading and writing practise. Many times with the best intentions we would get everything out for some fun, messy, creative play only to find that she'd moved onto another project.
Yet she was very eager to learn and was happy playing alone for a short while if we could channel her motivation and creative energy. We could easily encourage very short bursts of educational and creative play which would help to develop her fine motor skills, creativity, literacy and numeracy skills and support her learning at nursery or school. But we didn't necessarily always have time to get out the paints, playdoh and felt tipped pens! And with a hectic lifestyle and a new baby in the house we didn't always have enough hands.
